Chennai Passion Table Tennis (CPTT), which was founded on November 2, 2017, intends to promote table tennis sports in and around Chennai by holding competition and running training programme. The secretary of the organization is Dr. Siva VHR whose passion of learning led him to earn his doctorate degree (Geology) in Anna University. His father, who ran a women’s welfare association for ten years, inspired him to create this organization. He excelled in International Table Tennis coaching course (ITTF-Level 1) run in Siliguri (2016) under the direction of Mr. Christian Lillieroos (USA), which devoted his career to promote this sport and trained (8 to 60+ years old) more than 100 players (school, college and corporate level). CPTT organized more than 50 tournament to date in which more than 200 players have benefitted from this organisation in realizing their full potential and excelling in important tournament such as zone, district, state, national and international level. Our collective teamwork, Non-commercial planning, attention to the player welfare, and numerous supports from top players, coaches and family members are our strength.
